Snowfall hits Kinnaur, Himachal Pradesh

Himachal Pradesh is whirling under intense cold weather with a fresh spell of snowfall with temperatures hitting a low nearly minus 10 degree Celsius in different districts. The mercury in Kinnaur district has dropped below the freezing point. The place has experienced fresh snowfall. It is covered with snow all over.

Kinnaur district is a beautiful valley in Himachal Pradesh with majestic mountains, green valleys, rivers orchards, and vineyards. This place is also known as “land of fairytales” and it remains covered with snow for six months in a year. It is one of the best places in India to enjoy the beauty of snow. Kinnaur and surrounding valleys are famous for trekking and other adventure sports. Most villages in Kinnaur lie at high altitude as 4,000m.

Recently the place has received a heavy snowfall covering the land, trees, road and cars in snow. Kinnaur looks like heaven covered with a white blanket.
