Reports claim that the three zones were already opened for day’s visits, however, Dhikala and Bijrani zones remained closed since May 1 due to the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, and later due to the monsoon season.
According to the Corbett Tiger Reserve schedule, the Dhikala remains open from November 15 to June 15, Bijrani zone opens on October 15 and remains open till June. Both these zones have night stay facilities too. Reportedly, the Bijrani zone was reopened recently, and as per the norms, 30 gypsies were also allowed for jungle safari twice a day.
