Finally, Indian’s favourite vacation destination, Singapore is now open for Indian Pakistan and Bangladesh tourists with some norms and guidelines. This move comes as the island-state continues to adjust border measures in response to the global COVID-19 situation. While addressing a virtual press conference, in this regard, Singapore Health Minister Ong Ye Kung stated that the situation in these countries has been stabilised for some time. He added, “There is no longer a need for strict rules that prevent travellers from these countries from landing here.”Check out the detailed guidelines that are mandatory for everyone entering Singapore
1: Before the 48 hours of departure, the travellers need to have a COVID-19 PCR Test at the internationally recognised lab or medical facility and get a copy of the test report either in English or accompanied with an English translation that should contain the following:
- Traveller’s Name
- Date of Test
- Date of Birth and Passport Number
2: It’s mandatory for travellers to serve 10 days SHN (Stay Home Notice) with a dedicated SHN facility
3: Get a COVID-19 test report on Day 10 of SHNÂ .
Earlier, Singapore allowed fully-vaccinated travelers from 15 more countries including Malaysia, Indonesia, United Arab Emirates, and Vietnam to enter the country, without having the requirement to undergo quarantine in dedicated facilities.
