Welcome to the largest ice and snow festival in the world at Harbin Ice and Snow Festival in China. Established in 1985, the festival has originated from local Harbiner traditional ice lantern show garden party in winter. The 30th Harbin International Ice and Snow Festival will be held from January 5, 2014 and last for over one month.

Swing saws, chisels and ice picks are used to carve ice into blocks which then used by ice sculptors to carve out their respective intricately designed and unique sculptures.
